Shanhaijing (The Classic of Mountains and Seas) records that Qiongqi looks like a tiger, the size of an ox, and has a pair of wings. It is said that Qiongqi is vicious and likes to eat people. He is disloyal and untrustworthy, and does not listen to good words, but only believes in bad words.
